Properties                      Water-reducible.

                                       Strong, glossy, water-resistant prints.

                                       Clean printing.

                                       Excellent press stability.

                                       Fast drying.

                                       Low foaming.

                                       Low odour.

                                       Non flammable.

                                       Deep freeze resistant.

                                       Heat seal resistant (min. 160 deg.C/30psi/1s).

                                       Wash-up with water.  A special solution is available to

                                       assist washing up.

 

Substrates                      Treated polythene and coated or treated polypropylene

                                       (with a surface energy level of 40-42 dynes/cm).

                                       Paper and board.

 

Thinners                         Water.

                                       Accelerator: Isopropanol.

                                       Retarder: Monopropylene glycol.

 

Drying                             Evaporation, assisted by forced (warm) air flow.

 

Stereos                           Natural rubber or photopolymer.

                                       Most stereos are unaffected by these inks.

 

General                          HELSTON  inks have excellent water-dilution characteristics.

Information

 

                                      They can be supplied matched to specific shades or as basic

                                      colours from the Pantone Matching System.

 

                                       Inks are available with high lightfastness for sack applications

                                       if required.

 

Health and                      HELSTON inks are commercially lead-free and
